2008 Fishing
This fishing season was a wash for me. I spent most of the summer mining and traveling with my family. I had fun doing both but I did not get much fishing in.
Ralph Elook, an old friend from my Sheldon Jackson years, found his way back to Sitka. We did well on a Biorka run. I was able to put up 100 pounds of halibut on the skate. The fish were small but should be good eating. Attached are a couple of steelhead pictures from friends.
I plan to hit the cohos pretty had this fall as we have very little smoking meat.
